PROJECT

Double O hired DYS Media to fill a gap in its talent pipeline. DYS placed Double O in several local and national on- and offline publications to attract qualified employees.

SOCIAL IMPACT

President Mike Otis prioritizes hiring from the 49507 neighborhood in which Double O is located. With unemployment of up to 50% pre-COVID, Mike understands the challenges involved. He has helped to rehabilitate dozens of lives by bringing them into the Double O family.

THE SITUATION

Double O intentionally became a great company through social impact. President Mike Otis purchases properties in neglected urban areas and renovates them to create job opportunities and community beautification.

TACTICS

Engage with editors, reporters and producers who cover business developments during the COVID-19 lockdown.

RESULTS

DYS Media placed Double O in publications such as Construction Executive, Grand Rapids Business Journal, Authority Magazine, Thrive Global, Newschannel 3 in Kalamazoo and Builders Exchange.
Double O developed a much larger media profile in its core market of Kent, Ottawa, Allegan and Kalamazoo counties, which will grease the skids for expansion into new markets.
