Dave Yonkman manages DYS Media's public and investor relations portfolio. He began his professional career at The Holland Sentinel in Holland, Mich. His background in journalism led him to serve as the Director of Communications for two Committee Chairmen in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Yonkman later broke ground as the Washington Correspondent for Newsmax Media, among the nation’s fastest growing multimedia news organizations. His 15 years in Washington, D.C. positioned him at the intersection of the highest levels of business and public policy.
He started DYS Media, LLC in 2013 in the nation’s capital to support businesses and associations with nationally focused media relations services. In 2017 he opened a second office in Holland, Mich. to serve the investor relations, manufacturing, health care, tech, financial services, infrastructure, automotive and publishing sectors in the Midwest.

HarperCollins alumna Jennifer VerHage oversees DYS Media's media and communications practice.
VerHage previously worked for HarperCollins Christian Publishing in Grand Rapids, Mich., where she won numerous awards for her work in media relations. She collaborated with The New York Times bestselling authors, business leaders, entrepreneurs, online influencers, celebrities, pastors and athletes. She secured media coverage in such major outlets as TIME, Fox News Channel, FIRST for Women Magazine, Fast Company, Christianity Today and Relevant Magazine.
She has worked with the WWE's Shawn Michaels (aka The Heartbreak Kid), Candace Cameron Bure of TV's Full House and Fuller House and American Idol and country music star Scotty McCreery among others.
VerHage lives in Holland with her husband, Mitch, and twins Jack and Alice. She holds a bachelor’s of science degree in public relations with an emphasis on marketing from Ferris State University.
